WorkTheory Roadmaps

A roadmap is an intensive four-week, fixed-scope piece of work designed for New Zealand organisations with 60 to 300 employees and an in-house HR or people leader / team. The roadmap works alongside your team and looks at your systems (not your people), and ends with a clear set of recommendations, so you decide how and when to act on it. You don't need a board to commit to one; owners and leadership teams can use them too.

Each roadmap gives you:
• a written assessment, scored domain by domain
• a prioritised sequence for what to do first
• a one-page summary for your board or leadership team to gauge where things stand
$9,500 + GST per roadmap

HR & AI Governance Roadmap

An independent look at how your people systems are holding up, including how AI is being used in people processes. It's scored across eight domains against current New Zealand employment and privacy law, with AI use reviewed against the OECD's values-based AI Principles (fairness, transparency, accountability and human oversight). New Zealand adopted these principles in 2024; they guide good practice rather than adding new legal requirements. Delivered remotely.

The eight domains
1. Employment agreements and worker status
2. Hiring, onboarding and pre-employment practice
3. Policy framework and delegations
4. Performance, conduct and exit
5. Employment relations and change consultation
6. Complaints, conduct and speak-up
7. Privacy, people data and record keeping
8. AI use in people processes

Included: up to three employment agreement templates, one collective agreement, one legal entity and up to three sites.
Good to know: for record keeping, I confirm that records exist and can be produced, but I don't audit their accuracy. Payroll, including wage, time and holiday records, isn't covered. Health and safety governance isn't covered either, and I'm happy to refer you to a specialist.

Inclusion & Accessibility Roadmap

A practical look at how inclusive and accessible your workplace is, scored across five domains. It's designed to sit alongside the Aotearoa Inclusivity Matrix and cover what it doesn't.

The five domains
1. Accessibility of the hiring journey
2. Disability inclusion and accommodation practice
3. Job design and psychosocial risk
4. Mental health response and return to work
5. Employee experience and voice
Included: a site visit within Auckland (visits elsewhere are quoted separately), one careers site, up to three recruitment pathways, and six to eight positions and their interview processes, from front line to senior management.

Optional add-on: EVP build

If your roadmap shows a gap between what you say about working with you and what your employees experience, I can help you close it. Building on the EVP review in your roadmap, I’ll talk with a small group of your employees, shape a clear employer value proposition with pillars you can back with evidence, test it for inclusion, and give your HR team practical guidance for using it in job ads, your careers site and onboarding. Only available after the Inclusion & Accessibility Roadmap discovery and insights, build approx three weeks · $8,500 + GST

Considering both, or need more?

If you'd like both roadmaps, I recommend running them at least six months apart, so the first set of changes has time to settle. Anything beyond the scope above is quoted separately before we start. Book a 15-minute chat below or email hello@worktheory.co.nz and I'll come back to you with answers to any questions.
