What does WorkTheory Co. offer?
I offer two fixed-scope roadmaps, HR & AI Governance and Inclusion & Accessibility, alongside ongoing fractional HR support, ad hoc senior HR projects and starter sessions. Every engagement is led by me personally and built on current New Zealand employment and privacy law.
Who do you work with?
Growing New Zealand organisations, particularly those with 60 to 300 employees and an in-house HR or people leader. You don't need a board to work with me, as owners and leadership teams do too. Fractional support suits CEOs and founders who need senior HR leadership on a weekly or monthly basis but aren't yet ready for a full-time hire.
How do we work together?
We start with a 15-minute conversation so I can understand where your organisation is and what you'd like to achieve. From there I'll suggest the best fit and agree the scope and fee with you in writing before we begin. We'll keep in regular contact throughout, so there are never any surprises. A roadmap works alongside your HR team and looks at your systems, not your people.
What if I'm not sure where to start?
A starter session is a good first step: a focused 60-minute conversation, then within 48 hours a written brief with your three priorities for the next 30 days, and a follow-up call two weeks later. Choose people clarity, AI readiness or workforce change. Each is $950 + GST, credited against your first month of fractional support if you go ahead within 30 days.
Do you offer ongoing support beyond a project?
Yes. Fractional Senior HR Advisory starts from $2,200 + GST per month, and Fractional Head of HR is priced on application. Both have a minimum three-month term, then continue month to month. For a defined piece of work, ad hoc senior HR projects start from $295 + GST per hour, scoped and priced with you before we start.
What if we decide we need a permanent HR role?
That's a great sign of growth. I can source an external recruiter for you or support your internal recruitment process, and help with a smooth handover so your new HR lead is set up well from day one.
Which professional bodies and accreditations do you hold?
- Chartered Member, Human Resources New Zealand (CMHRNZ)
- Workplace Inclusion Professional, Te Uru Tāngata Centre for Workplace Inclusion
- Governance Essentials, Institute of Directors
- Thomas International Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) Practitioner
- Member, Auckland Business Chamber
- Business mentor, Business Mentors New Zealand
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I carry professional indemnity, public liability and statutory liability insurance, so you can work with me knowing the work is backed by recognised professional safeguards.
Making a difference together
Each year I support a small number of charities and not-for-profits across Aotearoa as a way of giving back to the community.
